Life is not without its challenges but also full of blessings. When I hear my son's laughter all those challenges temporarily fade away: and when I think of the unconditional love that we share, I realize what a precious gift that has been bestowed upon me in this lifetime in which I had never imagined would be so magnificent. The one thing that I am sure to tell him every day is that I love him and that he is exactly the way he was meant to be created..He is PERFECT!

This is a sample of Griffin's artwork on his Doodle Pro. To me it looks like a head with legs & feet but when I asked him who it was he said "Big Bird". Hey, who am I to judge? This looks like something a typical kiddo of 4 years might do whether or not they would call it Big Bird I don't know but that's beside the point. I was just happy to see him holding the pen correctly. I think that it's pretty cool that he got the ears , eyes, nose, mouth, and hair in the right spot all that's missing are the body and the arms . So, we can work on that but for now, I say "Good for you Griffin, excellent work little man!"

I think that is AWESOME!!! Griffin is using his imagination!!! It obviously doesn't look like Jim Henson's Big Bird, but Griffin has decided that, with his imagination, that it IS. HUGE steps in autism!!!!
WAY TO GO GRIFFIN!!!
Excellent work Griffin!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by my site. I have been lurking here for awhile now, but thought it was time to come out of the closet.
That's Big Bird for sure. I see wings there, and the big feet. Griffin decided to give him a slightly different style, a little flip in the front. Well done, Griffin!!!
Maybe Big Bird like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I agree with you, Good work Griffin. I also the the picture in the post below. It is wonderful to see him able to take so much pride in his accomplishments.
